Mazes and labyrinths are one of the most universal forms of experiential structures. Man made labyrinths have been known for thousands of years.
Hedge mazes can be constructed from almost any sort of herbs you can think of. Some grow faster, but need to be trimmed many times a year. Others are evergreen, and can also be admired in the winter, but they need about 10 years to fully grow. The vast majority of European hedge mazes are solved in less than half an hour.
In the park, the first, dome shaped maze has been completed, called the Thousand Tuft Hill, due to it consisting of over a thousand trees. The second, sports labyrinth, is still under construction.
